Tidal Treasures - North Norfolk Coast, England
Each piece of sea glass in this collection has been collected along the rugged beaches of the North Norfolk coast, where the tides and beaches, made up mostly of flint, gradually soften once-sharp fragments into smooth, frosted gems. Unlike the older, deeply weathered pieces often found at Seaham, the sea glass from Norfolk tends to be younger, retaining a slightly brighter sheen and more defined edges — a reflection of its more recent journey through the sea.
The natural imperfections and subtle variations in colour and texture make every item entirely unique — a small fragment of coastal history, transformed by the elements and by hand into wearable art.
