Authenticity
Each item comes with a Certificate of Origin card, detailing the location and year the seaglass was collected, adding transparency, traceability, and a deeper personal connection to your piece.
Every piece of Oceanella jewellery is genuine and beach-found, with seaglass naturally weathered by the waves over time. Many fragments display a soft, frosted surface—a natural effect created by the ocean, not a manufactured coating—while some have a smoother, “silky” finish, reflecting different locations and weathering conditions.
On select pieces, I have etched or polished the glass myself using electric tools or natural oils to enhance the beauty and tactile quality of the glass. Wherever this has been done, it is clearly noted under the piece and on the Certificate of Authenticity provided with your purchase.
Because each fragment is shaped by the sea and, occasionally, by careful artisan work, every piece is truly one-of-a-kind in shape, size, and texture. Every material I use—seaglass, recycled bullion, and findings—is responsibly sourced, ensuring that each creation reflects care not just for the jewellery, but also for people and the planet.
